Ipswich Town – Pre Season – 2021/22 Season

I believe the army lives by the motto of the 6 P’s – Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance, and that could very much be targeted towards our Pre Season.

I went into it with quite a scattergun approach to scouting players, which in reality overwhelmed our scouting team, meaning it took months to get reports on some players, despite me knowing the positions I needed to strengthen at the final whistle of the previous season.

(FM20) 2033/34 Season Review – Xolos Tijuana – Into The Big Time

Welcome back! After last season’s first stage win in Mexico with the wonderful Xolos Tijuana my third season takes on extra importance. We are into the North American Champions League and the board expect us to reach the final. This is a major moment in the save overall. The NACL is the only reason I’m here, it is one of the big achievements I need to tick off, win it and my time in Mexico is over! How did we do? Well let’s find out!!

(FM20) FK Haugesund 2020 Season Review – Fixing my mistakes….slowly

Remember when I said I was going to slow down playing FM this year? Well that didn’t go well! Yes I’ve had some free time off work and my daughter being at school/wife at work has helped, but I just haven’t been able to put this save down! Are you saying I’m addicted? Maybe you’re right! Anyway, enough of that! Welcome back to my second season review post! Wow this week has gone quick, this save has got a hold of me!!!! So the season’s over, it’s been another good season, results wise – spot on, performance wise…..hmmmmm! All will be revealed!

PATRICK HODLER HAS BEEN SACKED AS BARRY TOWN UNITED MANAGER

A troubling day here at Jenner Park has ended with Swiss Icon Patrick Hodler being relieved of his duties as Barry Town boss. Rumours have been circulating for a few weeks with regards to Hodler’s contract being up at the end of the season and that negotiations has fallen through, so for Hodler to leave wasn’t a shock, however for him to be sacked is nothing short of stunning.

The Achievement Hunter #1 – A shock appointment at Barry Town United [An FM19 Story]

FC Sion legend Patrick Hodler has retired from football and has taken over as Barry Town United manager in Wales with immediate effect. 30 year old Swiss International Striker Hodler had an fantastic career at FC Sion scoring 140 goals in 233 games before a terrible training ground injury, a shocking two footed tackle by jealous fellow Striker Thomas Breitenmoser broke both his legs in 4 places. During his 18 months injury lay-off he fell into depression and alcohol and in the 3 years since returning only played 2 games.
